Made of the 4 main Somló grape varieties, this famous blend has been the cellar’s flagship wine year on year. The name “Kőfejtő” means Quarry , and was given to the wine because Toth Cellar is located next to Somló’s only quarry. Luckily, because Somló’s volcanic rocks crumble and break up very easily thus no good for roadbuilding, the quarry was a very short lived venture in the last century.
