Olaszrizling from a tiny plot on Somlo – hill, owned by Mor-based Krisztina Csetvei. She makes her famous ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors’ series from this vineyeard, putting the same yield through three different vinification methods each year. Scissors is the ‘half-half’ of the three – half of it fermented in stainless steel, the other in barrels. Not only her idea and the lables are ingenious but the content of these elegant bottles are outstandingly good, too. Each wine perfectly displays the distinct volcanic terroir of Somlo as well as stands as a perfect and clear example of its own vinification technology.
