Olaszrizling from a tiny plot on Somlo – hill, owned by Mor-based Krisztina Csetvei. She makes her famous ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors’ series from this vineyeard, putting the same yield through three different vinification methods each year. Rock is the ‘barrell – one’ of the three – fermented and aged in a small barique barrel. Not only her idea and the lables are ingenious but the content of these elegant bottles are outstandingly good, too. Each wine perfectly displays the distinct volcanic terroir of Somlo as well as stands as a perfect and clear example of its own vinification technology.
